| Description: | BJHCHS Inc is currently seeking a Pediatrician for this FQHC (NHSC Loan Repayment Program participant) to share call requirements and clinical practice for a large patient population.
BJHCHS Inc is a thirty-eight (38) year old award winning Community Health Center. Our FQHC is located in the rapidly growing beautiful coastal area known as the South Carolina “low country” with an area population of 160,000. You will be minutes away from golfing on Hilton Head Island, historic Savannah, GA, cultural events and tempting water sports. The school system is great, and the cost of living is reasonable.

| Duties: | Provide primary care services to patients.
Additional requirements include assisting clinical staff with planning, sharing call requirements, organizing and implementing clinical programs and activities, supervising and assisting in training of clinical students, must have the ability to work well with a cooperative effort with diverse groups of health professionals and center staff; ability to work independently and to make appropriate clinical decisions which reflect knowledge, professional confidence and integrity. |
| Qualifications: | Position Requirements
Education: Graduate of an approved school of medicine
Completion of residency program
Certification: Either Board Certified or Board Eligible
Licensure: South Carolina Physician or eligible for licensure authorized by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners DEA & state controlled substance certificate required
40hr work week plus 1:4 call
